How to protect tracker user's own location privacy - GeoFamily Tracker App

The controller user is allowed to request and receive the location information of the tracker user only on the permitted days of the week and time range which is set by the tracker user in the 'Privacy Settings' drawer menu. Accordingly, when it is outside the permitted days of the week and the permitted time range, the controller user cannot receive any usual location of the tracker user and any notification for arrival/departure of a zone from the tracker user.

However, the tracker user can send the location and state information to the controller user at any time using the menu buttons, regardless of the permitted days of the week and the permitted time range. The privacy settings are set by the controller user at the time of the pairing request, and thereafter only the tracker user is allowed to change that.

In other words, from the viewpoint of the tracker user, the location information of the tracker user is exposed only to the controller user within the days and time range allowed by the tracker user, but the tracker user can send their own location information to the controller user using the menu buttons at any time tracker user wants.

Tracker users can limit exposure with regard to their location information as follows.

(1) Click the 'Privacy Settings' in the drawer menu.

(2) Activate by toggling the days of the week that allow you to expose your location information. Light blue is active.

(3) Please set a time range to allow. If you allow all day, enable the '24 Hours A Day' checkbox. If you disable the checkbox, you can choose a time range that you allow.

(4) Click the 'CHANGE' button to save the settings.

When you install the GeoFamily app and then sign up, or when you re-install it and then log in, you must proceed in a good network environment. Please check the following. 1. If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure there is no exclamation mark next to the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the screen. And, the Wi-Fi signal level should be high. 2. Creating an Account Create your account as one of two roles. ⚫ Controller(Administrator, Viewer) Role : The role is to view the location and status information received from the tracker user on a map and set the behavior of the tracker user device. ⚫ Tracker(Location Reporter) Role : The role is to transfer the location and status information to the controller user. Setting the tracker behavior by the controller user - GeoFamily Controller App

The controller user sets and changes the behavior of the counterpart tracker user. First, select the 'Tracker List' menu from the drawer menu. If you have already added the counterpart tracker, its current settings will appear on the tracker list screen. Click on the 'Pencil' image button, and the edit screen will appear and you can amend the settings. Let me explain about the 'DETAILED SETTING'.
